Job summary

Confluent is seeking a Staff PM for Cloud Networking to own the platform strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will lead a multi-year roadmap, shape architectural direction, and drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and security teams.

You will mentor senior PMs, develop pricing and packaging strategies, and ensure alignment with executive leadership while focusing on enterprise connectivity, security, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, with cloud infrastructure or networking focus.
• Demonstrated ability to set strategy and multi-year roadmaps for platform products.
• Experience partnering with engineering leadership as a co‑decision‑maker on architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Define standards and criteria for networking decisions and launch readiness.
• Drive architectural decisions with engineering leadership balancing UX, cost, and complexity.
• Develop the product team and mentor Senior PMs on roadmap thinking and customer research.
• Build cross-functional alignment with executives and stakeholders to secure platform investments.
• Define and own success metrics at the platform level linked to revenue and cost efficiency.
• Engage with strategic customers and articulate the platform vision in technical conversations.
