Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience building risk/fraud decisioning strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Strong collaboration with data science/ML teams to productionize models and reasoning around features, precision/recall, and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy to hit fiscal year goals for loss reduction and false-positive reduction across bill payment and payroll risk.
• Decide how models, rules, and signals combine to approve good transactions and stop bad ones in real time.
• Expand the data foundation by evaluating, integrating, and operationalizing new data vendors and internal sources.
• Build features and signals to assess counterparty risk (payees, vendors, employees, contractors).
• Advance real-time, AI-native decisioning—latency, reliability, explainability, and guardrails for automated decisions.
• Own the scoreboard and communicate it: report loss rates, false positives, approval/decline rates, model performance, and decision latency.
• Align and deliver across data science, engineering, risk policy, compliance, and operations; prioritize and set timelines.
