Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analytics or data science roles supporting risk for financial services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills; knowledge of payment processing risk and fraud trends is a plus.
• Data-driven with ability to derive insights and drive business decisions.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel; familiarity with A/B testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mine and analyze large-scale account/transaction data to build/optimize risk strategies.
• Lead full cycle of risk policy work from identifications to production monitoring.
• Develop risk strategies across money movement to balance risk and growth.
• Collaborate with data science, risk operations, product, and analytics teams on segmentation and portfolio analyses.
• Evaluate 3rd party data providers to improve credit risk modeling.
• Design tests to explore new methodologies and estimate key risk metrics.
• Demonstrate good judgment and strategic thinking.
