Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead a new AI-native product family, from zero to one, and to shape scope, recruit design partners, and set the quality bar for end-to-end automation. This is founding work with high impact on product analytics, session replay, and observability platforms.

You will drive execution across engineering, pricing, and customer communication, defining problems, outcomes, and phased value, while navigating non-determinism and risk in AI-driven systems.

Qualifications

• Shipped AI products to production customers and iterated based on field feedback.
• Experience treating evaluation as product work with defined success criteria.
• Familiar with non-determinism, confidence, and risk in AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Set product direction for a new AI-native product family with phased value delivery.
• Own product decisions at every loop stage: signals, opportunities, proposals, evidence, and memory for next cycle.
• Define the autonomy ladder and its controls, audits, and defaults for auto-PR and rollout.
