Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Manager of Internal Product Analytics to lead a team of data analysts and partner closely with PMs and platform engineers. You will set the direction for analysis, AI-powered tooling, and cross-functional collaboration, turning complex data into trusted leadership decisions.

You will supervise the analytics output, own recurring PM analytics, and build AI-first workflows to streamline insights across the org.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product analytics, data analytics, or related field; 2+ years managing or leading a team.
• Strong track record partnering across functions (Product, Finance, Engineering, Data) toward shared outcomes.
• Proven ability to partner with product managers to turn questions into analysis.
• Fluent in SQL and comfortable with a modern data warehouse and BI tooling.
• Hands-on experience building AI-first analytics: AI-powered workflows or agents; capable with AI tools (Claude).
• Experience communicating with senior leadership at VP+ level, in writing and live settings.
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments and able to lead through influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide and grow the Internal Product Analytics team; set priorities and ensure high-quality outputs trusted across the Product org.
• Partner directly with the PM org to frame questions, shape analysis, and deliver actionable insights.
• Own recurring analytics for the PM org: business reviews, usage and pricing analyses, and adoption tracking.
• Build AI-first analytics: design and ship AI-powered workflows and agents to speed up analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance, Data Platform, Engineering, and Revenue to source data and turn signals into decisions.
• Turn data into decisions for leadership by surfacing clear insights for PMs and senior leadership.
• Define metrics, definitions, and analytical frameworks as the single source of truth for the Product org.
