Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the agent experience across discovery, onboarding, production use, and verification. You will prototype, read and write code, and partner with engineering to build a self-optimizing system that evolves with agent behavior.

You report to the VP of Self-Serve. You should be an engineer at heart, now shaping product, with deep AI fluency and a track record shipping AI software for developers and agents.

Qualifications

• Strong product management judgment and proven ownership of product roadmap and outcomes.
• Former software engineer turned product leader with hands-on coding ability.
• Deep AI fluency demonstrated by shipped AI software and tooling.
• Ability to design and stand up complete systems for discovery, onboarding, integration, and verification.
• Experience working with developer-focused, API-driven products.

Responsibilities

• Own the agent experience across discovery, onboarding, production use, and verification.
• Build and measure a funnel system that tracks agent behavior and product impact.
• Define product surfaces: signup/authentication, trial keys, documentation, CLI, tools, and templates.
• prototype changes directly with engineering and owned platforms like MCP servers and CLI.
• Shape platform requirements for SDK ergonomics and developer docs.
• Lead end-to-end product decisions and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Drive the evolving product strategy in a fast-moving AI-first environment.
