SoFi is seeking a Staff Product Designer to envision the future of personal finance and drive high standards of design across the lending and home loan experiences. You will collaborate with Product, Eng, Research, and Marketing to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions for mortgage-related products and beyond.

The role emphasizes strong craft, stakeholder alignment, and leadership in shaping design direction within a multi-disciplinary team.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in product design/UX roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate strategy and processes and lead cross-functional meetings.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to define product strategy.
• Ability to use metrics to inform design and measure success.
• Experience using design thinking tools like design sprints to align stakeholders with business and user needs.
• Strong expertise in standard design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Expertise in mobile and web UX best practices across iOS, Android, and responsive web.
• Strong collaboration skills across Research, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Ability to translate user research and data into design solutions.
• Experience presenting work and rationale to senior leadership and advocating for user needs.

• Use a design thinking process toward establishing and executing vision for team initiatives.
• Develop user-centered design solutions based on research and insights.
• Challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
• Work across the entire product life cycle from vision to engineering-ready specs.
• Collaborate with Research, PM, and Engineering to drive programs forward.
• Coordinate with other designers to align experiences across projects.
• Create system maps, user flows, prototypes, and page-level specs.
• Collaborate with design systems teams to leverage templates and components.
• Prototype experiences to validate concepts with stakeholders and users.
• Grow design practices across the company and the Design org.
