Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks an experienced Staff Product Designer to shape a global fintech platform. You will define the visual identity, own the brand evolution, and scale the design system across mobile, web, and internal tools, collaborating across Product, Engineering, Growth, Compliance, and Go-to-Market.

The role demands senior-level craft, research-driven decisions, and the ability to mentor while delivering high-impact experiences in a fast-paced, remote environment spanning New York,

Qualifications

• Extensive product design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Experience delivering consumer-facing mobile products from concept to launch.
• Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, hierarchy, IA, content strategy.
• Experience building and scaling design systems beyond components.
• Translate complex customer needs into intuitive product experiences.
• Strong systems thinking across screens and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to drive ambiguous projects from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the visual identity and product experience for a global fintech brand.
• Expand the design system, including tokens, motion, patterns, and documentation.
• Lead new product offerings from hypotheses through launch and impact measurement.
• Maintain high standards for visual quality, interaction design, and craft.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Translate market opportunities and regulatory constraints into practical solutions.
• Use research and customer insights to inform strategy and roadmaps.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate prototyping and workflows.
• Partner with engineers to deliver high-quality implementations across platforms.
• Know when to apply pixel-level precision vs. pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Raise organizational design capabilities through execution and collaboration.
