Handshake is building a new AI-native product from the ground up to reinvent how recruiters source, engage, and manage talent. As a Staff Product Designer, you will define a consumer-grade, craft-forward experience for a complex B2B workflow, working with an AI recruiting assistant at the center of the workflow.

You’ll shape problems with product, engineering, and data teams, own end-to-end design, and iterate on chat, composer, and structured tools while thriving in ambiguity and rapid change.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in enterprise or B2B environments.
• Strong communication of design decisions to partners and leadership.
• Deep visual and interaction design with shipped impact.
• Ability to incorporate generative AI tools into ideation and prototyping while maintaining product thinking.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to define problems and shape strategy for a new product area.
• Own end-to-end design from concept through post-launch iteration, including flows and prototypes.
• Translate complex workflows into clear consumer-grade solutions.
• Design core interaction patterns for AI, agents, and hybrid AI/structured workflows.
• Iterate quickly via wireframes and prototypes, gathering feedback early.
• Maintain craft and a strong point of view on visual/interaction design.
• Collaborate with designers across adjacent parts of the employer experience.
