Job summary

Flex is seeking a Staff Product Designer to own a product area end-to-end, developing a vision, exploring opportunities, and delivering work that ships. You’ll set the design bar from discovery to final implementation, applying UX strategy, design thinking, interaction and visuals.

In a cross-functional, data-informed environment, you’ll partner with PMs, engineers, data analysts, risk and compliance to validate ideas through experiments, build prototypes, and contribute to our design system

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer products.
• Ownership of a product or family of features that work together in a complex space.
• Experience designing for experimentation and analyzing funnel data.
• Comfort with handling errors, edge cases, pending and recovery states.
• Ability to work with technical and regulatory constraints as design material.
• Strong native mobile design experience (iOS/Android).
• Proficiency with Figma and AI tools for sketching and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for your team, contributing to strategy and roadmaps across your area.
• Develop a vision for the experience and define a north star for the team.
• Own the design process from discovery through implementation.
• Design for users under real financial pressure with clear, honest flows.
• Identify customer needs and influence prioritization with cross-functional leads.
• Structure experiments with PM and analytics and measure success.
