Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a Staff Product Designer to define next-gen connected member experiences and establish UX foundations for emerging products. You will work at the intersection of product experience, software, and systems thinking with teams across Product, Engineering, Design Systems, and Research.

This Boston-based role emphasizes creating cohesive member journeys, prototyping interactions, and shaping a scalable design language while embracing AI tools to enhance day-to-day work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with ownership of consumer product experiences.
• Exceptional UX and interaction design skills, simplification of complex problems.
• Strong systems thinking: information architecture & reusable patterns.
• Experience designing mobile experiences across multiple touchpoints.
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping to communicate interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of new connected member experiences from discovery to production-ready designs.
• Define interaction principles, navigation models, IA, and scalable UX patterns across the WHOOP ecosystem.
• Design cohesive member journeys across touchpoints to translate complex product capabilities into intuitive interactions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Design Systems, and Platform teams to navigate constraints and tradeoffs.
• Prototype and test interaction models to validate assumptions and accelerate decision-making.
• Shape long-term UX vision for emerging WHOOP products and uphold design principles.
