Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced Staff Product Designer to lead AI-driven and agentic design initiatives across consumer interfaces. You will shape when and how AI is used to deliver proactive, trustworthy experiences while partnering with Product to map a successful roadmap.

You will design hybrid search and discovery interfaces that balance efficiency with AI-powered discovery, crafting a unified vision for consumer touchpoints across the Affirm ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience with complex experiences and shipping new products.
• Proven track record designing AI-driven, agentic, or conversational interfaces.
• Strong understanding of human-centered AI principles and user trust.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive AI/agentic initiatives for affirm’s consumer experience.
• Design proactive, conversational patterns that elevate user experience.
• Define the design language for AI-driven interactions and trust.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and research.
