Affirm is reinventing credit to offer honest, transparent, and flexible consumer experiences. We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape AI-driven interactions and agentic experiences that proactively assist users in moments of need.

You will lead design across AI-enabled search and discovery experiences, partnering with Product to define a roadmap for scalable, trusted, and delightful consumer touchpoints across the Affirm ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AI-driven, agentic, or conversational interfaces that deliver real user value.
• Proficiency in prototyping non-linear, multi-modal user flows to test AI interactions.
• Strong understanding of human-centered AI principles, trust, explainability, and transparency.
• Ability to design for high-stakes consumer financial products where trust is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive AI and agentic initiatives for Affirm’s consumer experience.
• Design proactive, conversational patterns that go beyond reactive commerce.
• Define the design language for AI-driven interactions with focus on trust and clarity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and research.
