Affirm is seeking an experienced Staff Product Designer to guide AI-driven consumer experiences at a pivotal moment in our journey. You will lead the design of agentic, proactive interfaces and partner with Product to define a roadmap for success.

In this hybrid role, you will shape how AI transforms customer touchpoints across our platform, balancing usability with innovative exploration, and driving trust through clear, crafted interactions that scale with Affirm's mission.

Qualifications

• AI/Agentic design experience designing AI-driven, agentic, or conversational interfaces that deliver value.
• Proficiency in prototyping non-linear, multi-modal user flows.
• Strong understanding of Human-Centered AI principles, focusing on trust and explainability.
• Experience designing for complex, high-stakes consumer financial products.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive design AI and agentic initiatives for affirm’s consumer experience, delivering high-impact, customer-centric solutions.
• Design intuitive, conversational, and agentic patterns that feel proactive and helpful.
• Define the design language for affirm’s future AI-driven interactions with trust and clarity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and research to drive innovation.
