Job summary

recruithaus is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to set the technical direction for its new AI-native developer tooling platform and agent sandbox. This hands-on leader will own architecture, shape product strategy, and drive 0-1 initiatives that excite customers.

You will act as a force multiplier, raise standards, mentor senior engineers, and ensure production outcomes while navigating ambiguous problems with clear solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of building products that customers love.
• Experience leading technical direction from early stage to industry-recognized product.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Startup experience and on-site work are required.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural direction for new products, including AI-native developer tooling.
• Translate business strategy into long-term technical roadmaps.
• Drive product development from 0-1 and ensure production reliability.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Operate in ambiguous problem spaces and define both problem and solution.
