Job summary

Amprius Technologies in Fremont, CA is hiring a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer (Staff level) to own the process parameters, first-pass yield and OEE for cell-assembly stations. You will contribute to pilot-line equipment ramp to full production and deliver process improvements.

You will design and run DOE studies, qualify process windows and SOPs, mentor technicians, and collaborate with equipment vendors to resolve tool issues while upholding safety on the production floor.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own process parameters for assigned cell-assembly stations; develop recipes and define process windows.
• Design and run structured experiments (DOE) to optimize parameters against yield and cycle time.
• Lead PFMEAs and control plans for new or changed processes; qualify changes with capability studies.
• Mentor technicians and operators; train on SOPs and operator training.
