Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Staff Process Engineer to lead process transformation initiatives across business and technology functions. You will partner with leaders, automation specialists, and AI experts to analyze processes, identify improvements, and implement scalable solutions that enhance performance and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 6–8 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, operations, process engineering, or related discipline.
• Expert knowledge of BPMN, process mapping, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices.
• Knowledge of automation platforms and emerging AI capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process discovery, analysis, and requirements definition across complex business, technology, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Oversee enterprise Value Stream Mapping (VSM) program with leaders to identify target processes for overhaul.
• Lead FMEA sessions to identify and mitigate risk before implementation.
• Design and maintain enterprise process architectures, current/future state models, value stream maps, and process documentation (BPMN).
• Define business requirements, process logic, data flows, system interactions, and control requirements for solutions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, finance, or related field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
