Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced power electronics engineer to design and validate board-level power delivery and PMIC sequencing for a new ML inference project.

You will work with cross-functional teams on power management, PDP, and clocking strategies to meet system performance targets. You will leverage MATLAB, SIMPLIS, and Mentor Graphics for design and verification, conduct power integrity studies, and drive pre/post-silicon validation against stringent specs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 4+ years hardware experience.
• PhD with 2+ years hardware experience.

Responsibilities

• Specify board-level power design and power management products.
• Program PMICs to orchestrate system power-on/off sequences.
• Lead design reviews and provide schematic/layout guidance.
• Ensure board meets power delivery requirements to the SoC.
• Drive power and signal integrity analyses and mitigations.
• Develop and validate board test plans pre/post-silicon.
