Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced power electronics engineer to design and validate power delivery for a new ML inference acceleration platform.

The role covers board-level power design, PMIC programming, and system-level power integrity. You will work with cross-functional teams, perform pre/post-silicon validation, develop test plans, and ensure rails meet performance and efficiency targets using MATLAB, SIMPLIS, and PCB tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of hardware experience or higher education plus experience.
• Master's degree with 3+ years of hardware experience or PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience with board bring-up and power integrity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Specifies board-level power design and PMIC programming for system power-on/off.
• Drive power integrity analyses and SI/PI for multiple rails.
• Develop and execute board validation test plans pre/post-silicon.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power delivery requirements.
• Use MATLAB, SIMPLIS, Excel for simulations and analysis.
