Job summary

24-MAG LLC is offering a fully remote, full-time opportunity for a senior PostgreSQL database and infrastructure engineer. You will design, operate and optimize mission-critical PostgreSQL environments in cloud-native setups using AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalable architectures.

You will lead performance tuning, backups and DR, implement high-availability patterns, automate routine tasks, and collaborate with platform teams to evolve our data

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production.
• Expert PostgreSQL internals and replication.
• Strong AWS RDS/Aurora experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate highly available PostgreSQL architectures.
• Build production environments using AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Develop architectures for reliability, scalability and fault tolerance.
• Apply PostgreSQL internals knowledge to design database systems.
• Support production workloads requiring continuous availability.
