Early Warning Services LLC is hiring a Staff Platform Security Engineer to embed security across the software and infrastructure lifecycle. You will partner with product, platform, infrastructure, and security teams to define secure target states, patterns, and standards, leading cross-functional initiatives.

The role emphasizes secure-by-default platform capabilities, engineering practice improvement, and mentoring engineers to elevate security excellence.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, security engineering or related fields.
• Experience owning major technical initiatives involving secure design or workflow transformation.
• Strong ability to define standards, patterns or reusable solutions adopted across teams.
• Proven mentoring or technical leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex platform security engineering initiatives across multiple systems and domains.
• Define secure target states, reference architectures, and technical standards for platform security.
• Lead security reviews of engineering designs and engagements with platform services and shared components.
• Drive scalable, secure-by-default controls and reduced engineering friction.
• Embed security requirements into CI/CD, deployment models and service lifecycles.
• Mentor engineers and elevate secure engineering practices across teams.
