Job summary

Infinity Constellation is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to own and evolve the core platform that powers their AI employees. This technical leadership role involves platform architecture, backend systems optimization, and mentorship duties. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in production systems, deep knowledge of Python and Kubernetes, and excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time remote position requiring collaboration across Americas timezones with a competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production backend systems at scale.
• Deep expertise in Python (Django preferred) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
• Strong background in distributed systems, message queues, and workflow orchestration.
• Production experience with async task systems like Celery or Dramatiq.

Responsibilities

• Drive platform architecture decisions.
• Review code for scalability and reliability.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineers.
• Own and evolve the core backend platform performance.
