Job summary

Clara is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to lead the Internal Developer Platform design, drive CI/CD standardization, and shape FinOps across AWS. You will operate a Kubernetes stack on Amazon EKS for multi-country workloads, while supporting a Kafka/MSK event-driven system and applying AI-driven log analyses for RCA.

You will mentor teams, enforce security and SSDLC, and guide architectural reviews in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles in fintech or regulated settings.
• Extensive hands-on AWS across multi-account, multi-region environments.
• Proven Kubernetes operations on EKS in production scenarios.
• Experience with Kafka/MSK, CI/CD standardization, and IDP initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and adoption of Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Standardize CI/CD to improve deployment frequency and cycle time.
• Own FinOps strategy for AWS and tooling.
• Operate and evolve Kubernetes platform on EKS for multi-country workloads.
• Support event-driven architecture using Kafka/MSK and async processing.
• Advise teams on secure, scalable infrastructure and reduce technical debt.
• Implement and enforce least privilege IAM and SSDLC practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve MTTR with monitoring.
