Job summary

Openkrill is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE to own the automation and reliability goals for our global, multi-tenant cyber intelligence platform on AWS. You will define the long-term architecture and drive infrastructure-as-code across the R&D footprint.

You will optimize production EKS clusters for scale and cost, architect Kafka and Redis layers, and build proactive observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Proven AWS production-scale, multi-tenant SaaS management.
• Expertise with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.
• Hands-on Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD automation.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
• Experience building monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks.
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling for observability or automation.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term architecture, automation strategy, reliability goals for R&D infra.
• Optimize scaling and cost efficiency of production Kubernetes clusters.
• Architect and scale data streaming and caching layers (Kafka/Redis).
• Develop observability with Prometheus and Grafana; set up proactive alerts and SLOs.
• Integrate AI-assisted tooling for automated remediation and predictive costs.
• Lead production-readiness via root-cause analyses and capacity planning.
