Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to drive the technical vision across our engineering organization, guiding architecture for B2B and consumer platforms. You will influence cross‑functional teams and set high standards for scalability, security, and reliability.

You will work with AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, and TypeScript/JavaScript to deliver mission-critical health tech platforms, ensuring HIPAA/SOC2 compliance and strong data privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering and systems design experience.
• 3+ years at Staff/Principal level driving initiatives across teams.
• Experience building, scaling distributed B2B SaaS/ transactional systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve target architecture for core platforms.
• Lead high-volume API integrations and complex fulfillment workflows.
• Mentor Staff/Senior engineers and promote design reviews.
• Establish engineering standards, CI/CD, and security-by-design practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Eng Managers, and Pharmacy Ops to align tech with business goals.
• Ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliant systems and secure data handling.
