Anthropic is seeking a Staff+ Platform Engineer for its Enterprise pillar, focused on making Claude enterprise-ready at scale. You will design identity, permissions, governance, connectivity, and data foundations, interfacing with executives and security teams from Fortune 500s.

You will lead multi-year strategy, drive high-impact initiatives, and mentor engineers while collaborating across Product, GTM, and Customer Success to reduce technical risk.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience at Staff level or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and API architecture.
• Proven ability to write design docs, make architectural calls, and code in critical paths.
• Shaped technical strategy at a Cloud Service Provider or large-scale Enterprise SaaS.
• Experience with security, governance, identity, and multi-cloud deployments.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive multi-year technical strategy for foundational enterprise systems.
• Lead the highest-complexity engineering initiatives across multiple teams.
• Serve as primary technical decision-maker for major architectural choices.
• Design platform primitives: identity, permissions, governance, connectivity, and usage data.
• Partner with teams such as Inference, Platform, Customer Success, Infrastructure, and Safeguards.
• Mentor senior engineers and align Product, GTM, and other stakeholders while addressing systemic risks.
