Job summary

ServiceTitan is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to be the deepest technical voice on our DevX platform team. This is an individual-contributor role with outsized scope, setting technical direction, making architecture calls, and shipping the hardest platform pieces.

You’ll lead through influence, not people management, guiding senior engineers and managers alike through complex decisions. You’ll build environments, CI/CD, developer portal features, and guardrails while aligning with product

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership on platform, infrastructure, or DevX systems at scale.
• Hands-on coding, design review, and debugging production systems, not just people management.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines, build systems, internal developer portals, or test automation platforms in production.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and platform contracts for the DevX environment.
• Build the highest-leverage, high-ambiguity components of the platform.
