You have 8+ years of software engineering, strong Python and cloud-native design (GCP), and a track record of guiding complex systems. This role offers high ownership, collaboration, and the chance to influence reimbursement

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with backend focus.
• Experience owning architectural decisions on complex production systems.
• Proficient in Python or strong Python depth.
• Strong background designing and operating cloud-native systems; GCP preferred.
• Experience with relational data modeling and schema evolution.
• Customer/problem discovery and proactive communication.
• Self-directed and collaborative; able to lead without title.
• Ability to work in greenfield environments with evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the platform across identity, tenancy, shared services, developer experience, and new areas.
• Write production code, lead design reviews, and take end-to-end ownership of systems.
• Design extensible interfaces so teams can extend the platform without forks.
• Design scalable, reliable system interactions balancing scalability, security, and performance.
• Translate ambiguity into executable plans with product and engineering leadership.
• Raise the engineering bar through patterns, reviews, and collaboration across teams.
• Mentor engineers and be a technical resource for senior and mid-level engineers.
