Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Platform Engineering to provide hands-on leadership across shared platforms enabling 250+ engineers and AI scientists. You will shape architecture, solve systemic challenges, and drive velocity, reliability, and AI deployment at scale.

You will define platform standards, build reusable services, and lead跨-functional initiatives across engineering, infrastructure, security, and AI to enable secure, scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with platform experience.
• Experience leading architecture and production operations.
• Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives at scale.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native platforms and automation.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term platform vision, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Build shared services and platform capabilities for 250+ engineers and AI practitioners.
• Lead cross-functional platform initiatives from strategy through adoption.
• Advance cloud-native and DevSecOps capabilities (Azure, AKS, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, security).
• Champion AI-enabled engineering workflows and mentor senior engineers.
