Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Primary Care Physician to join our team at Miami Correctional Facility located in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The Physician provides clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements of the site.

The Site Medical Director provides direct clinical services and supervision for medical staff under the Statewide Medical Director. Qualifications include MD/DO in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine; active, unrestricted Indiana license;

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board eligibility or board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine.
• Active, unrestricted IN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements at the site.
• Serve as Site Medical Director and supervise medical staff under Statewide Medical Director.
• Collaborate with Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient, clinically appropriate care.
• Participate in committees such as CQI, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

The Site Medical Director also provides direct clinical services for patients and clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s) under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director.
