Centurion Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician to serve as the Site Medical Director at Putnamville Correctional Facility in Greencastle, IN. The physician provides clinical direction for the site, delivers direct patient care, and supervises medical staff under the Statewide Medical Director.

The role includes collaboration with the Health Services Administrator and participation in Quality Improvement and infection prevention activities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with internal medicine, family medicine or emergency medicine training.
• Active, unrestricted IN license.
• Active, unrestricted DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements at the site.
• Deliver direct clinical services to patients and supervise medical staff.
• Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator and participate in CQI, infection prevention, and Pharmacy & Therapeutics committees.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a Primary Care Physician to serve as the Site Medical Director at Putnamville Correctional Facility located in Greencastle, Indiana.

The Physician provides the clinical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of the assigned site(s). The Site Medical Director also provides direct clinical services for patients and clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s) under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Site Medical Director will collaborate with Health Services Administrator at the site to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and will participate in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
