Job summary

Orthopt is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will evaluate and treat patients, design individualized plans of care, and help patients improve mobility and quality of life.

You will collaborate with a supportive clinical team, document in the EMR, educate families on home programs, and monitor progress toward meaningful functional goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the United States (DPT or equivalent)
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics with evidence-based care
• Ability to educate patients and families on home programs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and progress individualized plans of care to improve function and mobility.
• Perform manual therapy and therapeutic exercises as clinically indicated.
• Document assessments, treatment, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to coordinate high-quality care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment based on outcomes and goals
