A leading healthcare company seeks a Staff Pharmacist to interpret prescriptions, ensure quality assurance, and consult with patients on medication use. This is a remote position. Ideal candidates must reside in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Tennessee, preferably within an hour of our sites.
During the approximately 2–3-month training period, working hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Eastern Time for all candidates.
Post-training, the shift schedule will be Wednesday through Saturday, either 9 am - 8 pm or 11 am - 10 pm EST.
Candidates must be open to working either shift schedule to meet our business needs.
The Staff Pharmacist interprets physicians’ prescriptions, contacts doctors or prescribers, and/or patients to verify prescription details and expedite processing. Responsibilities include adhering to regulatory guidelines, tracking order status, resolving issues, and consulting with patients about medication use and potential drug interactions. The pharmacist may handle customer calls regarding lost orders or errors, maintain daily production and quality standards, adjust work priorities, and train less experienced pharmacists.
We provide comprehensive care for patients with chronic conditions, including health care products, outcomes measurement, counseling, clinical management, social services, and reimbursement support, making a positive impact on patients’ lives daily.
If working remotely, ensure internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
