Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team to serve at facilities surrounding the Dublin, GA area on an as-needed (PRN) basis. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-oriented, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Fulfill all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement, and distribution of drugs, along with counseling and professional consultation.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand.
3. Interpret physician medication orders accurately.
4. Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care, performing related duties.
5. Utilize pharmaceutical equipment such as automated dispensing machines, laminar flow hoods, and compounding equipment.
6. Represent the hospital and PharmD on Demand professionally and positively.
7. Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
8. Comply with organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
9. Exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
10. Interact effectively with diverse individuals.
11. Maintain professionalism in all situations.
12. Use time effectively and efficiently.
13. Handle calls from facilities and return to pharmacy as needed.

Position Requirements:
