Job description

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring quality, safety and accuracy in the fill process while maintaining compliance and an exceptional customer services experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in training technicians and drivers.
  • Prescription fill process including direct patient counseling.
  • Proper maintenance, storage, and transportation of medications.
  • Coordination of mail and delivery services.
  • Maintain a collaborative approach to patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Actively support and promote medication adherence and education initiatives.
  • Inventory management and ordering process.
  • Initiative-taking in implementing existing or new integrated clinical medication programs.
  • Outcome driven focus on quality measures including completion of CMRs and adherence measures.
  • Complete AAHIVP Certification within 1 year of employment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pharm D Required
  • Registered Pharmacist in the State without restriction
  • 5 years’ experience that includes retail setting
  • Clinical experience is preferred
  • AAHIVP certification is preferred

Working conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses general office equipment. -OR- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses general office equipment. Often wear a special uniform, such as a lab coat or surgical scrubs, protective or safety attire, such as gloves and masks. Exposed to the diseases and infections of patients daily. May share workspace with other technicians and staff.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information constantly.
  • Ability to remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Constantly operates computer, keyboard, copy and fax machine, phone, and other general office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally move objects up to 20 lbs.
