Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead the front lines of patient care, uphold clinical standards, and model compassionate service within our community pharmacy. You will support the Pharmacy Manager and oversee daily operations to ensure safe dispensing and excellent patient experiences.

Eligible candidates hold an active pharmacist license in the store's state, a valid NPI, and are not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required trainings within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks, pivot quickly to meet patient needs, ensure label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and understand patient reactions
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescriptions and inventory needs
• Issue Resolution: handle challenging interactions and select best course of action
• Physical Demands: mobility, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
