Job summary

CVS Health staff pharmacists play a critical role in delivering care at our retail pharmacies, supporting the Pharmacy Manager, and leading the team to ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and compassionate patient service.

This full-time role requires active licensure in the state, an active NPI, and compliance with all regulatory standards, with flexibility for scheduling and a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values and supporting patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy to the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and coaching the team.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by compassionate care and resolving insurance/medication issues.
