Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist in the United States to lead patient-focused care in the store pharmacy. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, immunize where permitted, and oversee the pharmacy team in the manager's absence, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and counsel patients, including immunizations where permitted.
• Oversee the pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts, coaching staff and providing feedback to the Pharmacy Manager as needed.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
