Staff Pharmacist, Outpatient - Per Diem

Pulaski Memorial Hospital Community Pharmacy

Winamac, Indiana

Position Overview: As a per diem, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Outpatient Pharmacist, you will be responsible for filling orders accurately, checking technician-prepared products before release, maintaining pharmacy security and controlled substances, entering orders and patient information accurately, assisting in training new staff, and supporting the Director in daily pharmacy operations.

Schedule

This position provides "as needed" coverage with no regularly scheduled hours, minimum of 4 hours per month.

Compensation

Starting pay ranges from $50 to $53 per hour, depending on related work experience.

About the Facility

Pulaski Memorial Hospital's Community Outreach program focuses on providing access to exceptional care and establishing partnerships to promote wellness in the community. CPS Solutions, LLC manages the pharmacy operations, and this position is employed by CPS Solutions, LLC.

Pharmacy Hours

Open Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school; PharmD preferred
• Current Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing
• Pharmacy Practice Residency completion preferred
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Accuracy and timeliness in work
• Proficiency with computer applications including pharmacy information systems
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Additional Requirements (may be required)

• Negative TB skin test within last 12 months
• Immunity proof for MMR, Varicella, HepB, and Influenza vaccines as applicable
• COVID vaccination
