Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care in a CVS Retail location. The Staff Pharmacist will supervise the team on duty, counsel patients, immunize where permissible, and ensure safe medication dispensing and workflow adherence.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and compliance with all federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunization services.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Supervise and coach pharmacy staff for performance and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Maintain patient safety with accurate labeling and dosing; resolve insurance issues.
