Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead patient care at a CVS retail location. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, supervise the pharmacy team, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient service.

Responsibilities include immunizations, patient counseling, inventory management, and adherence to state regulations. The role emphasizes maintaining strong clinical skills and compliant, compassionate care for our patients.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and counsel patients on medications.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Participate in immunizations and clinical services where permissible.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Coach and support pharmacy staff to improve patient care and workflow.
• Maintain accurate prescription fulfillment and inventory control.
