Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Indiana is seeking a pharmacist to join its team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues, and help grow the pharmacy business by mentoring technicians and upholding Meijer policies.

In this role you will operate in the absence of the pharmacist in charge and support patient care with strong organizational and communication skills, while embracing Meijer's commitment to equality and community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed pharmacist in the applicable state.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (Indiana exception noted).
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and help grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Be competent and knowledgeable of Meijer policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate effective communication and act as an agent of change.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, manage pharmacy operations.
