Meijer Inc. is seeking a retail pharmacist to join our community-focused team in Ohio. You will provide patient-centered care, process prescriptions, and supervise daily dispensing operations within a community pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient typing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at service points of contact.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription information in the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Process paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications and maintain inventory.
• Maintain organization and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy appearance.
• Comply with state licensure requirements; complete Meijer training if not required.
• Demonstrate teamwork and positive attitude in a retail setting.
