Job summary
Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a full-time Staff Pharmacist to join our 100% employee-owned, closed-door team serving individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs. The role includes medication packaging verification, pharmacist consultations, data entry, and injections.
Qualified candidates hold a PharmD, active AZ license, and strong knowledge of pharmacy laws. Leadership experience and a collaborative environment are valued; competitive hourly wage and ESOP benefits are
Qualifications
- PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to obtain before starting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs.
- Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers.
- Complete accurate pharmacy data entry.
- Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns.
- Administer a variety of injections.
- Participate in medication review committees as needed.
- Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time.
