Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team in a full-time role. This position offers 100% employee ownership through our ESOP and a schedule of Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM with a rotating Saturday 10AM-2PM.

Responsibilities include verifying multidose packaging, providing consultations to nurses and prescribers, data entry, reviewing therapies and interactions, administering injections, and participating in medication review committees while working with

Qualifications

PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
Active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to obtain before starting.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs.
Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers.
Complete accurate pharmacy data entry.
Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns.
Administer a variety of injections.
Participate in medication review committees as needed.
Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time.
