Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to play a pivotal role in a CVS Pharmacy as part of our retail health team. You will oversee dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

You will support the Pharmacy Manager, lead the team on daily operations, manage workflow, and provide compassionate patient care within a fast-paced, storefront environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing.
• Overseeing pharmacy operations as proxy during shifts and coaching staff.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as primary pharmacist on-duty.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Deliver immunizations and support technicians in immunization training.
