Amazon in Imperial, PA is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to enhance the medication access journey, ensuring accurate verification, efficient fulfillment, and thorough DUR documentation. You will work with technicians to maintain a compliant, high-quality workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing (active and unrestricted in state of employment).
• Bachelor's degree in Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical data review, prescription verification, and virtual patient consultations in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage end-to-end prescription fulfillment, including dispensing medications with automated systems and manual fill.
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment, including refrigerated and bulk medications.
• Maintain quality standards and safety protocols while meeting CPT and production targets.
• Split time between verification and fulfillment based on operational needs and volume.
• Perform DUR and ensure accurate documentation in pharmacy systems.
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Collaborate with technicians and other pharmacists to maintain workflow.
• Identify and report safety concerns promptly and comply with regulations.
• Complete daily tasks including processing returns and medication rejects.
