Our Staff Pharmacists play a critical role in: cultivating a culture of excellence in their pharmacy by acting as a role model, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for the pharmacy team. They support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy, oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, and are responsible for:

1. Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
2. Taking direction from the Pharmacy Manager and acting as their proxy, including coaching and providing feedback to pharmacy team members.
3. Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
4. Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety protocols.
5. Contributing to positive patient experiences with empathy, collaboration, and proactive issue resolution.
6. Offering and delivering immunizations and supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization training.
7. Managing pharmacy inventory effectively, especially cold chain products.
8. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, escalating issues when necessary.
9. Remaining flexible to schedule and business needs, supporting a safe and inclusive team environment.
10. Maintaining clinical and technical skills, seeking opportunities for knowledge expansion.
11. Supporting access to care through pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible.
12. Adhering to all legal, regulatory, and company policies to ensure safety, privacy, and inclusivity.

Additional tasks may be assigned as directed by supervisors or managers.
