Pharmacist Opportunities at EVERNORTH Care Group

Core Responsibilities for Staff Pharmacists

1. Ensure patient therapies are appropriate using clinical knowledge.
2. Counsel patients on the proper use of prescription and non-prescription medications.
3. Educate patients on various disease states and drug therapies.
4. Prepare and dispense medications according to provider instructions, including compounding.
5. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
6. Comply with all federal, state, and company regulations governing pharmacy practice.
7. Work collaboratively within a team to deliver excellent patient care.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment.
9. Coordinate with the Pharmacy Supervisor, staff pharmacists, and technicians to meet or exceed performance objectives.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
• Bachelor's in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Highly motivated with the ability to learn internal and external systems.
• Experience in outpatient pharmacy setting preferred.

Additional Requirements
