Role Overview: Our Staff Pharmacists play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in their pharmacy by acting as a role model, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for the pharmacy team. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team, and be accountable for managing all aspects within your pharmacy.

1. Responsibilities include:
2. Helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
3. Supporting the Pharmacy Manager by overseeing pharmacy operations during shifts, coaching team members, and providing performance feedback.
4. Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
5. Supporting safe prescription fulfillment and following workflow procedures.
6. Contributing to positive patient experiences with empathy and genuine care, and resolving insurance or medication issues.
7. Offering and delivering immunizations, supporting team learning in immunization practices.
8. Managing pharmacy inventory, with focus on cold chain products.
9. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and CVS policies.
10. Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, supporting a safe and inclusive team environment.
11. Maintaining clinical and technical skills, and seeking opportunities for professional development.
12. Supporting clinical services like testing and prescribing where permitted, to improve patient outcomes.
13. Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards to ensure patient safety and privacy.
